how the best is , there is no best , just better !
Or you may reverse your statement, and say "I'd choose to be the best because just being good is not being the best".
Best is a relative term. If no one else is as good as you, then you're the best!
If everyone sucked and you happened to suck the least, it still doesn't make you good.
Best is relative indeed - which is perhaps why I'd rather be absolutely good or as good as I may be satisfied about it, than just have...no one else as good as me.
